ECMC Group, Minneapolis, named Jeremy Wheaton president and chief executive. Wheaton was president and chief executive for Triumph Higher Education Group/Escoffier School of Culinary Arts and worked for Meritas Family of Schools.

U.S. Bank Wealth Management, Minneapolis, named Rod Dolan national head of business owner advisory services. Dolan was chief financial officer and chief operating officer for Kaye Scholer in New York and was chief financial officer for Dorsey & Whitney.

The Hills Youth and Family Services, Duluth, named Dave Hartford psychiatric residential treatment facility administrator for a future Twin Cities facility. Hartford is a former assistant commissioner for the Minnesota Department of Human Services and worked for CentraCare.

Messerli & Kramer, Minneapolis, named Gary Debele shareholder. Debele was a shareholder at Berg, Debele, DeSmidt & Rabuse.

MDA Leadership Consulting, Minneapolis, named Lisa Gordon principal consultant. Gordon was a partner at SKS Consulting Psychologists and previously worked for MDA Leadership.

Eagle Valley Bank named Matthew Shook vice president of retail banking. Shook was assistant vice president, banking center manager, for MB Financial Bank in Chicago.

Moving up

Trimble named Brian McLaughlin president of transportation mobility. McLaughlin joined PeopleNet in 2001 and in 2011 became president, the same year PeopleNet was acquired by Trimble.

Knutson Construction, St. Louis Park, named Derek O'Connor project executive for the Rochester division. O'Connor joined the company in 1996 and most recently was a senior project manager. Knutson Construction also named Tony Joseph director of business development and Jason Steinke superintendent.

On the board

CFA Society Minnesota, Minneapolis, named Mark Peiler president. Peiler is chief investment officer for BNC National Bank. Also named to the board were Amanda Carter, Bethel University; Chip Jamison, Allianz Life Insurance Co. of North America; Kathryn Lyons, U.S. Bank Private Wealth Management; and Carol Schleif, Abbot Downing.

CaptureLife, Minneapolis, named Ron Wrenholt to the board. Wrenholt was corporate vice president, e-business and business development, for Lifetouch.
