Comcast named Ron Orlando vice president — external affairs for the Twin Cities region. Orlando was Comcast's vice president for government affairs. Comcast also named Sharifa Garcia director of customer experience for the Twin Cities region. Garcia was a senior customer experience manager in Missouri and held leadership positions for Sprint, General Mills and 3M.

FLM+ named Lukus Blackford vice president, digital strategy. Blackford joined the company in 2016 and worked for Wunderman and Jellyfish.

On The Move

St. Catherine University, St. Paul, named Patricia Pratt-Cook senior vice president for human resources, equity and inclusion. Pratt-Cook was vice president for human resources and chief diversity officer at the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth and worked for Minneapolis Public Schools.

QualiTech, Chaska, named Marc Philouze general manager, food ingredients division. Philouze held leadership positions for Diana Group and worked for Pfizer.

BBDO Minneapolis named Liz Giel vice president, director of strategy. Giel was group planning director at Carmichael Lynch and worked for Fallon.

Friends & Neighbors, Minneapolis, named TJ Shaffer creative director of design. Shaffer worked for Olson and Popular Front. Friends & Neighbors also named Molly Dunne associate creative director. Dunne joined the agency in 2015 and worked for Bolin.

Leadpages, Minneapolis, named Dustin Robertson CMO. Robertson was chief marketing officer for Vegas.com and worked for Backcountry.com.

Honors

National Waste and Recycling Association gave Bill Kuhlman the Small Company Driver of the Year Award. Kuhlman works for Walters Recycling and Refuse in Blaine.

National Speech & Debate Association (NSDA) gave Pam Wycoff the Distinguished Service Award — Sixteenth Honors. Wycoff was director of speech and debate for Apple Valley High School and serves as VP of the NSDA board.

Assocation of Governmental Risk Pools gave Pete Tritz the 2017 Award for Excellence in Service. Tritz is an administrator for the League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust.
