Washburn Center for Children, Minneapolis, named Tom Steinmetz chief executive. Steinmetz joined the center in 1996 and in 2010 was named chief operating officer.
University of Minnesota named Jay Schrankler associate vice president of technology commercialization and new ventures. Schrankler was director for technology commercialization and worked for Honeywell, 3M and Unisys Corp.
Bank of America named Katie Simpson Minneapolis/St. Paul market president. Simpson joined the bank in 2007 and most recently was Minnesota market executive for its Midwest middle market banking team.
PadillaCRT, Minneapolis, named Tim Nelson account supervisor. Nelson was a senior account executive. PadillaCRT also named Katie Priebe senior account executive.

Booz Allen Hamilton named Brad Maiorino executive vice president. Maiorino was chief information security officer for Target, General Motors and GE and serves on the board for the Retail Cyber Intelligence Sharing Center.
Ryan Cos., Minneapolis, named Mike Rodriguez vice president of architecture and engineering. Rodriguez was a design principal/vice president for HDR Architecture and is an adjunct instructor for Dunwoody College of Technology.
Leo A Daly named Quoc Le director of structural and civil engineering for Minneapolis. Le was an associate/senior structural engineer for VAA.
Coridian Technologies, Chanhassen, named Pat Geraghty vice president of sales and marketing. Geraghty was vice president of sales and marketing of supplies for Honeywell/Datamax and worked for Indentco.
Sundog named Ross Crandall client consultant for the Minneapolis office. Crandall was a senior program manager for Voya Financial.
Crawford Merz, Minneapolis, named Carl Krieger project manager, Ellie Schaaf project manager assistant and Annette Wildenauer director of business development and marketing.
Honors
Women Grocers of America gave Cindy Sorensen the Woman of the Year Award. Sorensen is senior vice president of business development for Midwest Dairy Association.
