Moving up

Fredrikson & Byron, Minneapolis, named Lindsey Remakel shareholder. Remakel joined the firm in 2010 and serves on the board for Voyageurs National Park Association. Fredrikson & Byron also named Youn-Jin Kim senior associate. Kim was an associate for Fox Rothschild and serves on the Downtown Minneapolis YMCA community board.

Volt Studios, Minneapolis, named Amanda Tibbits partner. Tibbits joined the company in 2014 as executive producer and worked for Mono, Fallon, Mithun and Pixel Farm.

U.S. Bank, Minneapolis, named Justin Parker trust officer for the private client reserve. Parker joined U.S. Bank in 2012 and was a relationship manager and trust officer for the private client group.

Atmosphere Commercial Interiors, Minneapolis, named Carlene Wilson executive vice president of national sales and marketing. Wilson was co-owner and vice president of sales and marketing at BKM Total Office of Texas. She serves as chairwoman of the Steelcase Dealer Council and served on the board for the Office Furniture Dealer Association.

Mirum named Bret Otzenberger chief technology officer, North America. Otzenberger was senior vice president of technology at Olson and was vice president of engineering for Digitaria, which became Mirum.

Logic PD, Minneapolis, named Tim Becker director of quality management. Becker was quality manager at Teleflex Medical OEM and worked for Greatbatch Medical, St. Jude Medical, Boston Scientific, Phillips Circuit Assembly and Unisys.

Chartwell Financial Advisory, Minneapolis, named Kayla Schmidtke senior accountant. Schmidtke was a senior accountant for Supervalu and worked for Target Corp.

On the board

Better Business Bureau of Minnesota and North Dakota, Burnsville, named David Aafedt chairman for his fourth term. Aafedt is a shareholder at Winthrop & Weinstine and was an assistant attorney general in the state attorney general's office.

Salo, Minneapolis, named John Wilgers to the advisory board. Wilgers retired recently after a 35-year career with Ernst & Young, where he was managing partner for the Minneapolis office.
