Moving up

Perkins+Will named Tony Layne principal and managing director of the Minneapolis office. Layne joined the firm in 2000 and most recently was an associate principal and co-chair of Perkins+Will's sustainable design initiative.

Onward Investors, Eden Prairie, named Barb Jones vice president and controller. Jones joined Onward in 2013 and was director of operations for Presidium Asset Solutions. Onward Investors also named Scott Schmitt vice president of acquisitions. Schmitt joined Onward in 2011 and was vice president of real ­estate ­development for Shingobee Builders.

TCI Business Capital, Burnsville, named Erica Ihrke vice president of operations. Ihrke joined TCI in 2008 and most recently was operations manager.

On the move

Magenic, St. Louis Park, named Heather Zimmerman financial services practice partner. Zimmerman was a marketing consultant for Securian Financial Group and worked for Ameriprise Financial Services and Carlson Marketing.

Widseth Smith Nolting, Crookston, named Jim Szustek director of electrical engineering. Szustek worked for TKDA and has experience working as a staff ­engineer, lead engineer and supervisory electrical engineer.

Medica, Minnetonka, named Nichole White vice president of pharmacy services. White was vice president and general manager, health plan division at ­Express Scripts.

Layne

Olson 1to1, Minneapolis, named Scott Loftus associate creative director; Kristie O'Shea director, product and process management; Melissa Struck, senior ­project manager and Shaun Zimmerman senior quality assurance analyst.

Honors

National Association of Fraternal Insurance Counselors named Peter Ryan International Fraternal Insurance Counselor of the Year. Ryan is a sales representative for Catholic United Financial.

American Lighthouse Council gave Lee Radzak the Francis Ross Holland Jr. ­Distinguished Service Award. Radzak is manager of the Minnesota Historical Society's Split Rock Lighthouse.
