Gage, Plymouth, named Sam Zastrow senior project manager. Zastrow was an engagement manager and is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas. Gage also named Lauren Johnson engagement manager and Dan Hellerich tech lead.

Summit Brewing Co., St. Paul, named Rebecca Newman quality manager. Newman worked for Anheuser-Busch, Boston Brewing Company, Sierra Nevada, Dogfish Head Brewery and Hakusan Sake. She was a president of the American Society of Brewing Chemists and a member of Master Brewers Association of the Americas.

SiebenCarey, Minneapolis, named Thomas Snyker attorney of counsel. Snyker practiced solo for more than 20 years and received his law degree from Hamline University School of Law.

Horatio Alger Association named Mark Davis a 2016 Horatio Alger award winner. The Horatio Alger award honors those who achieved the American dream despite adversity. Davis is chairman for Davis Family Holdings and a board member of the Minnesota State University Mankato Foundation.

School Nurse Organization of Minnesota named Julia Bennett School Nurse of the Year and Mary Heiman Nurse Administrator of the Year. Bennett is a nurse at Minneapolis Public Schools and Heiman is coordinator of health services for Edina Public Schools.
