CHS, Inver Grove Heights, named James Zappa executive vice president and general counsel. Zappa was the vice president, associate general counsel and chief compliance officer for the 3M compliance and business conduct department. He worked for UnitedHealth Group and Dorsey & Whitney and serves as a director for the Boy Scouts of America, Northern Star Council.

Minnesota Diversified Industries, Minneapolis, named Peg McQuillan director of development. McQuillan was a director of development and marketing for the Food Group, formerly the Emergency Foodshelf Network, and a development officer for Memorial Blood Centers.

The Excelsior Group, Eden Prairie, named Joanne Lehrke vice president and general manager. Lehrke was a regional director for Frauenshuh Healthcare Solutions and held leadership positions for Cushman & Wakefield/NorthMarq and Opus.

Martin Williams, Minneapolis, named Ryan Libby director of studio services. Libby held leadership positions for Target and Olson and is a board member for Recycled Fish. Martin Williams also named Dan Erickson art director, Tara Henderson account director, Cameron High associate creative director and Krista Theis project manager.

Bremer, St. Paul, named Kim DeBaere wealth management regional manager. DeBaere was a senior vice president and trust officer for U.S. Bank's private client reserve wealth management division.

Dunham Associates, Minneapolis, named mechanical engineer Robert Gelle to the firm's Rochester office. Gelle worked for AKF Group and is a graduate of South Dakota State University. Dunham Associates also named mechanical designers Brian Hain and Carl Olson and electrical designer Blythe Waldemar to the firm.

KLJ named Matthew Eklo and Don Tollefson right of way agents for the St. Paul office. Eklo was a right of way specialist for Ulteig.

Western Bank, St. Paul, named Andrew Swammi senior vice president, commercial banking. Swammi joined the bank in 1997 and was a vice president of commercial banking.

Pineapple Reputation Management named Danielle Cristal account executive. Cristal joined the firm in 2014 as an assistant account executive and was a public relations and marketing coordinator for the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts.
