Moving up

Liberty Diversified International, New Hope, named Nat Porter group vice president for the office and building products group. Porter previously had served as general manager for each of the three businesses under the office and building products group. Liberty Diversified also named Paul Wichert group vice president for the machine tools group. Wichert previously was general manager of LDI's Milltronics businesses and had management roles with Ellison Technologies and Samsung Machine Tools of America.

Weber Shandwick, Bloomington, named Eric Pehle executive vice president and general manager of the firm's Minneapolis office. Pehle has worked with accounts including the U.S. Army, Mall of America, BAE Systems and Prairie Island Indian Community during his 20 years at Weber Shandwick. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and began his career as a broadcast reporter and anchor.

Dorsey & Whitney, Minneapolis, named George Eck the head of the Minneapolis office.

Murphy Cos., Minneapolis, named Greg Parupsky vice president of client relations and business development and Wendy Pigorsch vice president of talent development and communications.

Mahoney Ulbrich Christiansen & Russ, St. Paul, named Lance Brock officer and Tom Johnson senior manager.

Medica, Minnetonka, named Andrew Davis vice president and general manager of the Medica Center for Healthy Aging. Davis previously worked for Express Scripts Inc., Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota and the Minnesota Departments of Health and Commerce.

Bell State Bank & Trust, Golden Valley, named Rebecca Kronlund senior vice president and commercial finance attorney. Kronlund previously was an in-house commercial attorney at U.S. Bank and before that she worked at Briggs and Morgan.
