Nilfisk-Advance Group, Plymouth, a manufacturer and distributor of professional floor cleaning equipment, hired Jeff Barna as president and general manager. Barna comes to Nilfisk-Advance from battery manufacturer Exide Technologies. He was recently the senior vice president of sales and service of their Americas business, where he was responsible for sales of over $1.2 billion. Before joining Exide Technologies, Barna was recruited by Millard Refrigerated Services in Omaha, Neb., as senior vice president of sales and marketing. Barna also served as founder and co-president of Refrigerated Logistics Group in Alpharetta, Ga. His company provided logistics solutions for the frozen foods industry.

Moving up

Mid-America Real Estate-Minnesota promoted Brandon O'Connell to assistant property manager. Brandon has been working with the Mid-America property management as an intern from the Real Estate Department at the University of Wisconsin-Stout.

Travel Leaders Franchise Group, Plymouth, promoted Darla Chartier to vice president within the company, overseeing its industry relationships with airline partners, global distribution systems and car rentals, as well as its meetings and support services departments. Chartier began her career with the company as a senior accounting clerk .

On the move

Faegre Baker Daniels, Minneapolis, hired Audrey Ann Fenske as special counsel in the law firm's ERISA, benefits and executive compensation group. Fenske was executive director at Ernst & Young.

Mid-America Real Estate-Minnesota hired Erica Jones as a property accountant. Jones has owned and operated her own accounting company since 2008.
