DELAFIELD, Wis. — The Waukesha County sheriff's office is investigating a fire that killed a well-known business owner and makeup artist.

WTMJ-TV in Milwaukee reports (http://bit.ly/1biOg0h ) that Sarah Brucker was found inside a condo in the Town of Delafield after it was ravaged by a five-alarm fire on Wednesday night.

The 36-year-old Brucker was the mother of two young children, the former owner of Blush Beauty Boutique in downtown Milwaukee, and a makeup artist. She had recently sold her interest in the salon to start a beauty consulting business.

Two other families escaped the fire. Investigators said the fire appeared to have started in Brucker's unit. Foul play has not been ruled out as a cause.

Brucker's friend and the current owner of Blush, Jhousy Leon, said Brucker's children lived with her in the condo but that they were with their father the night of the father.

Leon said it was Brucker's calling to make people look their best. "She lived and breathed makeup and she was the best," Leon said.

The Waukesha County Sheriff's Department is leading the investigation with help from the State Fire Marshal.
