Braham man killed in Hwy. 95 crash outside Cambridge

A 61-year-old man was killed after his car collided with a pickup truck on Hwy. 95 outside Cambridge on Friday afternoon, according to the State Patrol.

The man, Steven Arthur Christian of Braham, was driving south on Vickers Street NE. and approaching Hwy. 95, according to the State Patrol's report. A 16-year-old boy was driving a pickup truck west on Hwy. 95.

Christian's vehicle pulled out in front of the pickup truck and was struck at 12:41 p.m. Friday, according to the report.

The 16-year-old suffered injuries that were not considered life-threatening, the report said. He was not driving under the influence of alcohol, according to troopers. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.

Roads were dry Friday afternoon, according to the report.
