NEW YORK — The young-adult novel adaptation "The Maze Runner" proved far quicker at the box office than the weekend's other new wide releases: Liam Neeson's grim thriller "A Walk Among the Tombstones" and the ensemble dramedy "This Is Where I Leave You."
In final figures announced Monday, 20th Century's Fox's "The Maze Runner" took in $32.5 million, more than double that of any other release. A sequel is already planned for next September.
