A house fire in Marshall County killed a 4-year-old boy and injured two other children, authorities said Sunday.

The boy's body was found late Saturday afternoon in the destroyed house about three miles north of Stephen, in the northwest corner of Minnesota. The two other children were hospitalized in Grand Forks, N.D. The Sheriff's Office would not release the victims' names or conditions Sunday.

Authorities said they received a 911 call shortly after 10 p.m. Friday, saying two children had been injured and a third child was possibly still in the house. Fire and ambulance crews from Stephen, Argyle, Kennedy and Karlstad responded.

The incident remains under investigation. Stephen is a town of about 660 people 50 miles northeast of East Grand Forks.
