The body of a St. Louis County man who was last seen on Sunday was pulled from Silver Lake in Biwabik Township on Thursday evening, authorities said.
Elmer Willman, 77, of Aurora, Minn., was found in the lake next to his canoe about 7 p.m. Neighbors last saw Willman on Sunday; his family went to look for him Thursday after not being able to contact him all week, the Sheriff's Office said.
Authorities did not announce the cause of death. The Sheriff's Office said the incident does not appear to be suspicious and remains under investigation.
