A body found in Savage on Friday has been identified as a missing 39-year-old man, the city's police department said Sunday.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner confirmed that the body recovered from a holding pond near a Target store on Hwy. 13 was that of Martise Windom.
Windom, a Lakeville youth basketball coach, was last seen leaving his home on Nov. 7.
His godson, Noah Gregory, had said that Windom was an entrepreneur who owned his own credit recovery business.
Savage police and the state's Bureau of Criminal Apprehension are investigating. The medical examiner will release the cause of death.
