In between campaigning for Mitt Romney and bashing Michele Bachmann, former Gov. Tim Pawlenty has found time to join at least three companies’ boards of directors.
Minneapolis e-commerce company Digital River named him to their board Monday.
Interestingly, the Pawlenty bio in the Digital River release stresses the former governor’s business experience. According to the bio: Pawlenty, “served as Vice President of Corporate Development for Wizmo, an early stage technology services company, and was a member of the Board of Directors of NewTel Europe, LLC and Stratika.”
In October, Pawlenty was named to the board of directors of Atlanta-based supply chain company, RedPrairie and board of medical company, Miromatrix.
The House GOP campaign committee said Thursday they are launching a TV ad against DFL candidate Andrew Carlson, as he runs in the special election to replace former Rep. Ann Lenczewski, the longtime DFL lawmaker who retired last year.
Chelsea Clinton made her first campaign stop in Minnesota Wednesday, visiting House DFL Leader Paul Thissen's south Minneapolis home with Gov. Mark Dayton to build support for her mother's presidential bid ahead of the March 1 caucuses.
