Blue suede shows The 75th anniversary of Elvis Presley's birth means all rock 'n' rollers should take a moment to shake their pelvises and catch part of a 20-hour marathon of the King's films, including the 1964 sexpot classic "Viva Las Vegas" (5:15 p.m. Friday, TCM) and his 1957 breakout hit, "Jailhouse Rock" (11 p.m. Friday, TCM). Priscilla Presley and longtime bodyguard Jerry Schilling will offer introductions.

Oliver twist "Daily Show" correspondent John Oliver didn't have any time for the press during the Republican National Convention, but he did chat it up with an Iraqi war veteran who is now his live-in girlfriend. In "John Oliver's New York Stand-Up Show" (10 p.m. Friday, Comedy), he woos some of his favorite comics, including Paul F. Tompkins and Janeane Garofalo.

Springfield follies Anne Hathaway guests on "The Simpsons" (7 p.m. Sunday, KMSP, Ch. 9) as Krusty's beloved, but the real star of the night is "Supersize Me" director Morgan Spurlock. He travels the globe to interview Homer fans for the top-notch documentary "The Simpsons 20th Anniversary Special: In 3-D! On Ice!" (7:30 p.m. Sunday, KMSP, Ch. 9) featuring everyone from San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom to Moby, who presents his version of the highly hummable tune "Mr. Plow."

Take me to the pilot The tributes to Capt. Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger continue with the "Brace For Impact" (8 p.m. Sunday, TLC), a love letter that includes the pilot revisiting his near-death flight over the Hudson River and steely narration from Harrison Ford, who survived an even more perilous journey in "Air Force One."
