Twin Cities home builders are having their best August in several years. The Builders Association of the Twin Cities said this morning that during August there were 385 permits issued to build 901 units with much of those gains coming from apartment construction. Blaine led the pack with 60 permits to build 77 units; Minneapolis permitted two apartment buildings with 204 and 203 units each.
