Gophers fans searching for ways to express their newfound excitement about the men's basketball team can trade their words for emojis or GIFs.
The Big Ten Network has created team-themed emojis to be used when texting and messaging. The "BTNMOJI" keyboard is available for free by downloading the BTN2Go app on your smart device.
So why use an old-fashioned smiling emoji when you can use Goldy's smiling mug. Even better, share the head of Big Ten Coach of the Year Richard Pitino. Or after a big 3-pointer, blast out the GIF of Goldy celebrating.
Other fun Gophers-themed emojis are the Minnesota "M" and a maroon "No. 1" foam finger. That could come in handy after each Gophers' victory throughout the postseason.
How to get the free download:
-Search "BTN2Go" in your app store and downloaded the app for free.
-Open the app and locate the navigation bar on the top left and expand it.
-The ninth item (at least in my experience) on the list is the BTNMoji Keyboard. Tap on it.
-This will open step-by-step instructions on how to add the new keyboard to your settings. It is a simple three-part process that will have you texting Goldy and Pitino's head to your friends in no time.
