BIG TEN POWER POLL

Michigan: In a year of complete insanity in the Big Ten, the Wolverines have been the most consistent team by far.

Wisconsin: The Badgers have beaten Michigan State, Michigan and Iowa during their six-game winning streak.

Michigan State: The Spartans have fallen into a win-one, lose-one pattern, but hey, that's the Big Ten.

Ohio State: File Penn State sweeping the Buckeyes under things we did not expect to happen this season.

Nebraska: Before an ugly loss at Illinois, the Huskers were on a five-game winning streak.

Iowa: Nearly every team has gone through the wringer in the Big Ten this year. Apparently, now is the Hawkeyes' time.

Minnesota: There might not be any team with a more confusing set of data.

Indiana: I take it back. The Hoosiers are just like the Gophers. What a weird year.

Penn State: The Nittany Lions are the last team to make it to five victories, but the Ohio State sweep is impressive.

Northwestern: Losers of five in a row after starting out so strong, but it hasn't lost to any of the other bottom four teams.

Illinois: The Illini are in by far their best stretch, winning three of five.

Purdue: Among the five-win bunch, the Boilermakers have probably the least impressive victories.
