Jason Mraz will kick off Mystic Lake's outdoor series

John Rich, you've just won "Celebrity Apprentice." Where are you going next? On tour with Big & Rich, with a show at the Mystic Lake Casino amphitheater on July 29.

As promised last week when they announced the new 8,000-seat amphitheater, Mystic Lake is quickly adding shows. Jason Mraz is set for July 3 and INXS and Berlin for July 28. As announced earlier, the Beach Boys are booked for July 31 and Diamond Rio plays a free concert on July 4.

Ticket on sales dates are June 3 for Big & Rich, June 10 for Mraz and June 16 for INXS.

Another Mystic Lake booking is Tony Bennett, returning to the showroom on Aug. 27. Tickets will go on sale June 11.

Also set for the south metro is the second annual Lakefront Jazz & Blues Festival on July 16 in Prior Lake with headliner Buddy Guy. Also appearing at Lakefront Park will be Guy's 12-year-old prodigy Quinn Sullivan, Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real (Lukas is Willie Nelson's son), the Lamont Cranston Band and Tim Mahoney of "The Voice" fame, among others.
