'Big Brother' auditions coming to Minneapolis

Want to compete for $500,000 and be on reality TV? CBS is coming in search of contestants.

CBS' "Big Brother" is coming to Minneapolis in search of contestants for the 18th season of the reality show competition.

There will be an open casting call at WCCO-TV from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 3.

Producers are looking for "ambitious, competitive, outgoing personalities" who are 21 and older. Filming is expected to begin in the summer

The show follows a group of strangers living together in a house with cameras and microphones recording their every move, 24 hours a day. Each week, the contestants compete in a series of challenges and vote to evict someone out of the house. In the end, the last person remaining wins $500,000.

You also can apply online at bigbrothercasting.tv. That application deadline is April 22.
