Wednesday's draw
The field for the Belmont will be set Wednesday when entries are due and post positions drawn (10 a.m., belmontstakes.com). History shows that the farther inside a horse starts in the Belmont, the better. California Chrome and Ride On Curlin (seventh in the Kentucky Derby, second in the Preakness) will be the only horses to run in all three legs of the Triple Crown this year.
