Bigger isn't always better. What matters most at this modest-sized Cathedral Hill mainstay -- which feels like an old English pub -- is the intelligence and inspiration behind its roughly 48 rotating taps, from the heavy emphasis on Minnesota's and America's craftiest brewers to its nice smattering of European beers. It all comes to a head (ahem) with special events such as the Festival of Hops, Belgian Beer Fest and special tappings hosted by the brewmasters themselves, whose love for the place should tell you something.
