Michael Beasley participated fully in practice this morning after he hurt his left shooting hand late in Sunday night's scrimmage.

Beasley played with his hand taped but otherwise didn't seem affected by it.

"Just a little sore," he said. "I honestly don't know what I did to it. I think big Pek (Nikola Pekovic) set a screen on me, but he got everybody so I can't really cry. I still got full range of motion. A little sore, I'll get through it."

This morning's session was the day's non-contact practice. We'll see if he participates fully in contact and in tonight's scrimmage.

"He was OK," Kurt Rambis said. "He said it was just a little bruise. He was dunking the ball every chance he got so it's fine."

Wes Johnson participate fairly fully again this morning.

Free agent DerMarr Johnson still hasn't participated in any conduct during camp yet because the NBA office still is waiting for communication from Johnson's European team that will clear him to play through FIBA rules.

UPDATED AFTER MONDAY NIGHT'S SCRIMMAGE:

They scrimmaged again tonight, but made it a short session so by the time they say media can enter for the final 30 minutes -- 6:30 p.m. -- they were already basically done.

That Rambis is no dummy.

A correction: Wes Johnson was held out of good portions of the morning no-contact session, but he participated in the scrimmage. Seems like they're picking and choosing what to save him for.

Since we (media) didn't get to see any of it, I can't provide any details tonight.

DerMarr Johnson did participate some after getting cleared by the NBA.

Former Gopher center John Thomas is laid up with a bad hamstring there surely will be some cuts before the team leaves for London on Thursday and he'll probably be one of them.

The Wolves will leave by charter flight Thursday, arrive in London early Friday and have a weekend of practices and other obligations before they play the Lakers Monday there and the Knicks next Wednesday in Paris.

Wish I was going, but should be talking to Rambis by phone daily and we'll blog regularly while they're away. When they return, we'll be on the road with them at Indiana, Syracuse and Milwaukee.

I wrote about Nikola Pekovic for Tuesday's paper.
