Sorry, got busy this afternoon tagging around with an NBA TV crew filming Kevin Love for an upcoming 30-minute show and I completely forgot to post this after practice on Wednesday, so...

Kurt Rambis calls Michael Beasley "doubtful" for Thursday's game against John Wall and the Wizards, but Beasley sounded like he's ready to try to tough it out again.

Maybe they'll just have to sit him down for own good after he's turned that left ankle in each of the last three games.

"The way I feel right now, I ice it a couple times and I'll be good, but we'll see in the morning," he said. "I've twisted my ankle before, played and had great games. It's not that serious. It didn't swell that much. It didn't turn colors."

Wolves again won't shoot in the morning on Thursday, so word on how Beasley's feeling likely won't come until pre-game Thursday night.

Beasley was ineffective before he came down on Tim Duncan's foot with about four minutes left in Tuesday's loss but said the ankle would have been fine if he hadn't twisted it again on Duncan's foot.

At least it's on what he called "my good ankle."

Also Wednesday, Rambis said he plans to stay with Corey Brewer as starter and Wes Johnson coming off the bench.

About the Love thing, NBA TV is in town Wednesday and Thursday to follow Love around for its "24 Hours" program that follows a big-name player around for a day leading up to game time.

Previous programs have followed Chris Paul and Grant Hill around.

A four-man crew spent most of Wednesday with Love at home, at practice and they met him at a Lund's while he and his personal chef shopped for scallops and other stuff for about 20 minutes after practice today.

This installment is scheduled to air Feb. 1.

That's all for now.

I'm taking a few days off away from the team here at about the midway point of the season, although still look for my NBA column and league notes package on Sunday.

Kent's got the next two games Thursday and Saturday against Orlando and I'll pick the team back up in Portland on Sunday in time for a two-game Western trip against the Blazers and Clippers.

He'll blog with you later on Thursday.
