While the immediate New England coast is still cloudy, cool and damp today,in areas farther west, the sun will be visible at times, and temperatures willbe warm as compared to what this area has experienced recently. Go far enoughwest, and you will begin to enter the toasty air mass that has been baking thesouthern Plains recently. Areas such as central parts of New York andPennsylvania will have a very warm, almost hot, day today.
