Using Houston's original vocals from her song "I Believe In You And Me," Manilow re-recorded the song with his voice entwined with the late singer's.

Manilow's new album, "My Dream Duets," has the singer-songwriter teaming with a slew of other deceased musicians, including John Denver, Marilyn Monroe, Sammy Davis Jr., Dusty Springfield, Andy Williams, Louis Armstrong and Judy Garland.

"They asked me to do a duets album and I thought, 'How could I make my duets album different?'" Manilow told Rosie O'Donnell and Nicolle Wallace. "I picked all of these people that I would have loved to sing with but they're all gone."

Manilow admitted during the interview that he became very emotional while recording his track with Houston.

"Whitney, just by herself, I had to push myself away from the speakers. She was standing right next to me. I was singing with her and then I'd go for the Kleenex," Manilow said.
