With their show last night at the Orpheum Theatre out of the way, the Barenaked Ladies have been announced as the last big missing piece of the Basilica Block Party lineup, filling in the TBA on the July 10. Guster will also perform that day along with the previously announced Avett Brothers, VV Brown and Ingrid Michaelson. The July 9 lineup now features Grace Potter & the Nocturnals and locals Rogue Valley (Chris Koza's band), along with Weezer, Spoon, One eskimO and Eric Hutchinson.

While Barenaked Ladies hardly add to the hipster value that Spoon and Weezer gave the Basilica -- and they're now touring without co-leader Steven Page -- they've always had a good following here in the Twin Cities. Their outdoor show in a freezing blizzard at the ice castle during the 2004 NHL All-Star Game in downtown St. Paul was unforgettable. Anyone who made the Orpheum show last night: How did the band fare without Page?
