'Home-keeping youth have ever homely wits," wrote Shakespeare in "The Two Gentlemen of Verona," currently at the Guthrie. A recent preshow party, "Beer, Burgers and the Bard," was clearly attended by the opposite -- worldly types who prefer to go out. Influenced by the 1950s interpretation of the play, the event at the Level 5 cafe included hamburgers, Fritos and Cokes (regular only!) in glass bottles. The sold-out event was such a hit that there will be an encore performance March 17. Corn chips and soliloquies for all!
