Ron Gardenhire had two lineups ready for today's doubleheader, one to face veteran Ricky Nolasco and one to face rookie righthander Jose Fernandez. At about 10:30 a.m., he found out which was which.

Marlins manager Mike Redmond decided to move Fernandez up to Game 1, the Marlins announced this morning, and Gardenhire has something close to his standard lineup to face him, with Joe Mauer catching, a Mauer-Willingham-Morneau middle of the lineup, and Oswaldo Arcia serving as DH.

The lineup for tonight's 7:10 p.m. nightcap will be significantly different, Gardenhire said, with Ryan Doumit catching. "We're going to try to get everybody in there," the manager said, since nobody has played much in the past week -- and there's another off day tomorrow.

Target Field is in remarkable shape, with huge piles of snow out on the plaza, but virtually none visible inside the ballpark. The seating area has been completely cleared; the only snow I see is in the planters along the outfield wall.

Here are the lineups for game 1, which begins at 1:10 p.m.:
