Bakk gets Union Endorsement

Sen. Tom Bakk receives nod from carpenters.

By Pat Doyle DFL Sen. Tom Bakk of Cook has been endorsed for governor by the Cabinet Makers Local 1865 in Minneapolis-St. Paul. It has about 500 members. Bakk is a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters (UBC) union and worked as a carpenter and union business agent before joining the legislature. "These endorsements are very personal to me," Bakk said. "I appreciate the support of union members..."
