Business mogul and reality TV star Donald Trump did not take the news well that GOP presidential candidate Michele Bachmann had sent her regrets for his fast-unraveling Iowa debate on Dec. 27. Interviewed by Don Imus this morning, Trump termed himself "very disappointed." He noted too that Bachmann has visited his office "four times," revealing that she had considered him as a potential running mate: "She'd call me, she'd ask me for advice. She said I should be her vice presidential, you know -- if she wins, she'd like to think about me for the vice presidency." A lot of GOP candidates have been kissing Trump's ring this fall. But only Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum are still in for the Trump debate, which Trump is now reconsidering But it's apparently Bachmann's whose regrets stung the most. Trump reminded Imus' audience that he had participated in a conference call with Bachmann supporters in October. "It's actually called loyalty," Trump said. "How do you do that?" A Bachmann spokeswoman did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
