Rep. Michele Bachmann has reportedly cancelled a town-hall meeting she planned to hold in downtown Minneapolis Thursday afternoon.

The Associated Press reported that Bachmann was no longer hosting the town-hall event that was scheduled at 4:30 p.m. before her Minneapolis fundraiser Thursday evening. Bachmann spokeswoman Alice Stewart told the AP there was a scheduling conflict, and that the fundraiser was still on.

Bachmann's campaign sent an e-mail Thursday afternoon which said Bachmann would be appearing via satellite at an "Education and Election 2012" presidential forum that will be aired on foxnews.com at 4:50 p.m.

Bachmann's campaign did not respond to requests for comment or confirmation.

The Minneapolis town-hall, which would have cost $50 per-person to attend, is still listed on Bachmann's campaign website under the banner: "Meet Me In Minneapolis!" Tickets for the fundraiser range from $100 for a reception and photo before the dinner to $10,000 per couple for dinner and a private reception.
