Rep. Michele Bachmann says she's bringing Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia across the street to the Capitol to lead her first Constitution class next year.

In a radio interview with former CNN host Lou Dobbs, Bachmann said she plans to kick off her classes on the Constitution with Scalia an hour before members cast their first votes.

"We're going to do what the NFL does, and what baseball teams do — we're going to practice every week, if you will, our craft," Bachmann said.

Scalia was nominated to the Supreme Court by President Ronald Reagan, and is currently the longest serving member. He's considered the most forceful conservative on the Court.

Bachmann, who calls herself a constitutional conservative, is hoping to make the classes a regular event at the start of the congressional week.

"That will set the tone for the week that we're in Washington," she said.
