Michele Bachmann's campaign is hoping to raise some money in response to several vulgar posters that appeared around the Twin Cities this week attacking the Stillwater Republican.

The posters, which say "F*** Michele Bachmann," promote an upcoming rap concert of the same name. Hot Dish looked around Uptown Wednesday after receiving a tip from a reader, but could only find one poster in the window of Dusty Pixels, a record store.

Another poster appeared at the Electric Fetus record store earlier in the week, but store manager Paul Christianson said staffers took it down because it was "not appropriate for the store."

In an e-mail to supporters this morning, Bachmann's husband Marcus called the posters "a juvenile and immature act by those unwilling to have a dignified debate." He asked people to donate to the campaign to help his wife defeat the smears.

"Let's you and I stand up together against these attacks and character assassins against my wife."
