Michele Bachmann's new campaign autobiography reportedly warns Republican voters off some of her more moderate rivals, according to a Fox News, which obtained an advance copy. In what could be an oblique reference to Mitt Romney, one of the more lasting front-runners in the race for the GOP nomination, Bachmann writes, "I believe that a conventional, play-it-safe campaign will ensure that America has to endure another four years of Barack Obama and his wrecking-crew policies…If the Republican presidential nominee fails to energize key constituencies, or worse, if the nominee is seen as insincere, he will lose." The book also reportedly takes some shots at some other Republican figures, including former President George W. Bush, who, though generally praised, is faulted for the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP), which Bachmann labels a form of "bailout socialism." Bachmann's book, Core of Conviction, is scheduled for release next week.
