The Scott County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding two runaway teenagers from the New Prague area who have not been seen since Saturday.
Hailey Ann Delbow, 16, and Terry Dewayne Cook, 17, were last seen just before 11 a.m. at a Wal-Mart in Shakopee. It is believed the teens were driving a silver 2007 Volkswagen Jetta with Minnesota license plate 678 DXW. The initial investigation indicates that the teens, who are runaways, may be headed to Austin, Texas, said Scott County Sheriff Luke Hennen.
"There's little chance that they fully understand the risks and dangers of their actions," Hennen said. "If they need help for any reason, help can be provided, no questions asked. But our first priority is making sure these juveniles return home safely, and we're asking the public's help in ensuring that happens."
Delbow is 5 foot 4 inches and weighs about 145 pounds. Cook is 5 foot 8 inches and weighs 110 pounds.
