Tricks of the tradeHate your kitchen? Despise your bathroom? Magnetic Productions will be recruiting for the DIY TV shows "I Hate My Kitchen" and "I Hate My Bath" at the South Minneapolis Housing Fair on Saturday at South High School.
Also at the fair will be more than 80 home-improvement experts, contractors and real estate pros, with exhibits and how-to workshops on everything from green kitchen makeovers to installing glass-block windows.

Pahl's will have all the supplies on hand. And if you want to make a basket for Mom, Pahl's is offering a plant-sitting service, to nurture your plantings to maturity until you're ready to pick them up before Mother's Day. Moss Basket Days will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday and Saturday. Reservations are recommended, but walk-ins are welcome.
