Assistant receiver coach Kubiak takes job at Kansas

Vikings assistant receivers coach/quality control Klint Kubiak has accepted a job as receivers coach at the University of Kansas, a source with knowledge of the situation said earlier today.

Kubiak, the son of former Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak, has spent the past two seasons with the Vikings. He played defensive back at Colorado State from 2005 to 2009. From 2010 to 2012, he was and offensive assistant who worked with receivers at Texas A&M.

Kubiak joins the staff of David Beaty at Kansas.
