Variety show planned during Northfield fest
An old-fashioned variety show will raise money for the Northfield Arts Guild during this year's Defeat of Jesse James Days events in early September.
"Vaudevesque" lets participants sing, dance and stomp their feet to more than 15 acts of "spectacular strength, skill and silliness," the arts guild says. Performers include Shari Setchell, Steve Lawler, Tania Larson Legvold, Michelle Drenth, Ann and Brendon Etter, Randall Ferguson, Kate Southwick and Mary Hahn.
The show is 7 p.m. Sept. 5-7 with a 4 p.m. matinee on Sept. 7. All tickets are $10 and are available at the Arts Guild office. The theater is at 411 W 3rd St. To learn more, see www.northfieldartsguild.org.
