LAKEVILLE

Casting for holiday comedy

Expressions Community Theater will hold auditions for "Trials, Tribulations and Christmas Decorations" at the Lakeville Area Arts Center on Sept. 17 and Sept. 19, seeking to cast nine roles ranging from a young girl to people in their 60s.

The play is a holiday farce in which a woman's plan to break her widowed dad out of his Grinch-like ways leads to mayhem. The show will run Nov. 8-10, 15-17 and 22-24.

Auditions, which will consist of a reading from the script, are 6-8 p.m. both nights. Those auditioning should bring a current headshot. Auditions and performances are at the Lakeville Area Arts Center, 20965 Holyoke Av.

The specific roles to be cast are: a man and two women in their 50s or 60s; a man and a woman in their 30s or 40s; two women in their late 20s or 30s; a woman in her 70s or 80s; and a girl age 8-14.
