Authorities are asking for the public's help in providing information about a June 29 fire that destroyed a popular bar in Emily, in north-central Minnesota.

The Minnesota Department of Public Safety said Thursday that the state fire marshal and local authorities believe the fire that destroyed the Bungalow Tap House was suspicious in origin.

The fire began in the back dining room of the bar, which was built in 1903.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Minnesota Arson Hotline at 1-800-723-2020. Callers can remain anonymous. Tips can be submitted online at mniaai.org. A reward of up to $5,000 is available for information.

The Department of Public Safety and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are assisting Emily police and firefighters and the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office.
