A 23-year-old woman lost control of her car on a curve in Medina, hit a tree and was killed, authorities said Wednesday.
Anna C. Fedor, of Arden Hills, was dead at the scene of the crash about 11:15 p.m. Sunday on westbound Hamel Road near Arrowhead Drive, according to Police Chief Ed Belland.
Fedor's car "went around a slight curve, slid to the right and hit the tree," Belland said. Fedor was wearing a seat belt, he added.
Authorities have yet to determine why the car left the road. There was no evidence at the scene that Fedor had been drinking, the chief said.
