Apple Picking

A mob hitwoman (Mo Perry) is about to off her stoner boyfriend (Jason Ballweber) in an orchard. But he has laced her drink with something that sends her on a trip. Meanwhile, two FBI agents are on their tails. A trippy detective story that includes talking trees and oversized rabbits, "Apple Picking" combines devised theater with "Remington Steele" in a contemporary wonderland. The production is creative, inventive and fun, even if it gets a little lost as it seeks deeper psychological explication.
