Michigan State, on a seven-game roll, continues to move up in the AP poll, jumping one spot from last week. Is year the year for a run at the title for the Spartans? Coach Tom Izzo has said it would be extra special this year, with this team.

Ohio State, on the other hand – with some baffling losses in recent weeks – slides again, two spots, as does Michigan, after dropping one to Purdue on Saturday. Wisconsin moves up two and Indiana, after its Gophers trouncing is bumped up five spots from No. 23.

For the first time in a couple weeks, a Big Ten team not currently ranked received some votes. That's Purdue, with three votes after recent wins over Northwestern, Illinois, Michigan and Nebraska.
