INTERNATIONAL FALLS, Minn. — For the fourth time this week, temperatures in International Falls have hit a record low.

A Duluth News Tribune report (http://bit.ly/13r9FiJ ) says the temperature fell to 38 degrees on Saturday morning. That would tie the daily record set last year. The National Weather Service says the average low for Aug. 10 is 52 degrees.

Earlier this week, the city hit a record low 37 degrees on Thursday and tied record lows of 40 on Wednesday and 38 on Sunday.

Other lows in the Northland ranged from 39 degrees at Crane Lake and 42 at Embarrass to 43 at Orr, Bigfork, Ely and the Grand Marais airport.

Meanwhile, Duluth was nowhere near a record. The morning low at the airport was 58 degrees, well above the daily average of 41.
