INDIANAPOLIS — Andretti Autosport will field an Indy Lights entry next season for Shelby Blackstock.
It will be Blackstock's fourth year with Andretti, which fielded him in the Pro Mazda Series last season. Blackstock had one win, three poles and 13 podiums in two seasons of Pro Mazda.
Blackstock is the 24-year-old son of country music star Reba McEntire. He becomes the third driver to advance through the Mazda Road to Indy program into Indy Lights with Andretti. Zach Veach moved to Lights in 2013 and Matthew Brabham did it last season.
