The American Federation of Teachers is hosting its biennial convention in Minneapolis next week.

The convention will feature numerous speakers, expos and sessions for teachers and other educators.

Democratic presidential candidate Hilary Clinton will speak to the teachers' union Monday night.

Other speakers will include AFT president Randi Weingarten, Minnesota lawmakers, including U.S. Senators Al Franken and Amy Klobuchar, and Sybrina Fulton, the mother of Trayvon Martin.

The convention runs from Monday July 18 through Wednesday at the Minneapolis Convention Center.

AFT represents about 1.6 million educators nationwide.
