BIG TEN POWER POLL

Michigan: The Wolverines locked up their first outright Big Ten title since 1986 on Tuesday. Things are looking good.

Wisconsin: The winning streak continues. That's eight in a row for the Badgers.

Michigan State: The Spartans rebounded from a two-game losing streak with a statement 10-point victory over Iowa.

Nebraska: With the exception of a letdown at Illinois, the Huskers are playing as well as anyone. It's their first time at 10 conference wins since 1998-99.

Indiana: The Hoosiers fell at home to Nebraska, but all other candidates for this No. 5 spot are nose-diving.

Penn State: The Nittany Lions are probably holding on to the notion that anything seems possible in Indianpolis.

Ohio State: Maintaining a consistent level of play has been an issue for the Buckeyes all season.

Iowa: What is going on? After looking like a title contender, the Hawkeyes have lost four of five in head-scratching fashion.

Minnesota: The Gophers still have three big wins, but the more important number might be four losses in their past six games.

Illinois: Things were on the uptick, but then the Illini got annihilated at Michigan.

Purdue: The only thing keeping the Boilermakers out of No. 12 is Northwestern.

Northwestern: Conversations about Chris Collins competing for Coach of the Year seem long ago now.
